Our Mont Blanc adventure begins in Courmayeur at 11:00 AM for introductions and gear checks. Soar aboard the SkyWay cable car, as we effortlessly ascend to the Torino Refuge.
Before tackling the mighty Mont Blanc, we'll hone our skills on the nearby glacier. This practical session ensures confidence and safety as we review vital rope maneuvers and techniques for progressing on steep snow and ice.
Prepare to face the Aiguilles des Marbrées, a 200-meter climb on diverse terrain. This ascent serves as a crucial training ground for the mixed terrain we'll encounter on the Mont Blanc summit push. We'll continue our ascent to the Refuge des Cosmiques, our final stop before our final ascent.
As darkness falls, we'll embark on the thrilling nighttime ascent of Mont Blanc. The French route of the Trois Monts, with a staggering 1450-meter altitude gain over 7 kilometers, awaits us. Prepare for a physically and mentally demanding climb. Finally, after hours of determined effort, we'll reach the summit of Mont Blanc.
Our descent will follow the same route, taking us back to the Refuge des Cosmiques. Here, we'll enjoy a well-deserved dinner and overnight stay, relishing the memories of our incredible achievement. On the final day, we'll cross the dramatic Combe Maudite glacier and descend from Punta Helbronner via the SkyWay cable car.
