Prepare to face 2100 meters of vertical gain and cover 10 kilometers in pursuit of this incredible summit.
The start of our challenge will take place early in the morning in Pont Valsavarenche as we meet for a quick equipment check before kicking off our ascent. We'll conquer the Vittorio Emanuele trail, ascending a heart-pumping 800 meters.
We'll strap on our headlamps and make our way up the first section of the trail, pushing ourselves to the limit as we ascend in the darkness. Once we reach the glacier, we'll switch to our glacier setup and continue our ascent towards the summit.
As we traverse the magnificent glacier, we'll make our way towards the towering moraine, ascend the challenging Donkey Shoulder, and push up the final ramp towards the summit. But our journey doesn't end there - to reach the peak, we'll climb the exposed rock face using sturdy metal steps, conquering every obstacle in our path and reveling in the thrill of the climb.
Bask in the glory of conquering Gran Paradiso as you admire the rugged peaks, deep valleys and vast glaciers stretching out before you from the summit. If you manage to outdo our record time of 3 hours and 5 minutes from the car to the summit, we'll raise a glass with you as soon as we reach the bottom!
