Description

Experience the natural thrill of Canada’s Atlantic Coast and enjoy a nine-day trek through the Tablelands and Gros Morne National Park! From fascinating wildlife to remarkable geology, this adventure in Newfoundland and Labrador will give you lasting memories of an intensely beautiful region!

Go as far east as you possibly can in Canada, and you will reach Newfoundland and Labrador. In the remote northern mystique of the Atlantic Ocean, the island of Newfoundland offers unparalleled views over the water from granite cliffs.

The Gros Morne National Park, which includes the Tablelands, is located on the west coast of the island, looking towards mainland Canada. It includes the Long Range Mountains, a range that is part of the Appalachian chain. The Tablelands are an area within the park of exposed mantle that was pushed up to the surface through plate tectonics.

Gros Morne is filled to the brim with great outdoor activities and incredible landscapes. Our trekking program through the national park, including the Tablelands, is a truly unique and fulfilling experience. You will immerse yourself in the rustic culture of this remote Canadian enclave and its flora and fauna. A caribou sighting is common, and you can even see whales during the first part of summer.

The coast also features fjords. Glaciers from the last ice age have cut into the landscape and created amazing formations that are very rare. The impeccable environment is evocative and standing atop the Long Range looking out is a feeling that will stay with you forever.

This program is designed to put you in an amazing location and discover its unusual beauty. The wild nature and pure waters offer plenty of options to explore the region. From boat tours and fjords to guided hikes and photographing arctic plants, you have nine days to do it all in this Canadian wonderland for trekkers and adventurers.

This trip is designed for anyone with a passion for nature. While the hiking is moderate to intermediate in difficulty, it requires extended walking of up to 10 kilometers and eight hours a day, so you should be in good shape. There is no authentic trail to follow, and the terrain is rugged. You should take this into consideration when preparing for this program.

This program is incredibly close to our hearts, and we are more than pleased to share it with you. The region is unlike any other in the world, and being able to show you a safe, interesting, and fun adventure is what we love to do.

Book this nine-day program traversing the Gros Morne and Tablelands NOW and see one of the world’s most unique and beautiful places!

We can also try a day of mountain biking in Mont Tremblant National Park, Quebec! Or we can head to Jean-Larose Falls in Quebec for some canyoning!

Will was great wise and fun to spend the day with.

Phillip

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Amanda

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
