8-day Bernese Oberland ski touring

The Bernese Oberland in the Swiss Alps is one of the best spots in the world for ski touring. And because of its altitude, we’ll find great conditions even in May!

Depending on your wishes for the week, we can focus more on climbing or more on skiing. The mountains in this area are at least as spectacular as those in the Haute Route!

This tour is a great introduction to ski touring in high altitude. We can climb a combination of some of the most famous peaks in the area, including Jungfrau, Monch and Finsteraarhorn.

Please be aware, however, that you will need prior climbing experience if you wish to climb any of the Bernese Oberland’s 4-thousanders. You also need to be in very good shape and have advanced skiing skills.

We usually wake up very early in the morning, which means we also get to the huts quite early (please take a look at the detailed itinerary below). Group size will depend on your objectives but if you want to climb some of the 4-thousanders in the area I can take a maximum of 3 participants with me.
