Stepping on the rock formations of Selvaggio Blu is walking on one of the wildest shores the Mediterranean has to offer. Let’s explore it on exciting trail-running trip!
Along the eastern coast of Sardinia, in Italy, you can sense the calm of its lonely paths and take a moment to enjoy solitude.
Our 7-day trip will start in Santa Maria Navarrese town, 150 km north from Cagliari. Here, we will spend our first night in an old shepherd’s hut. The following nights, we’ll stay with our mattresses and sleeping bags right on the beach… an amazing experience!
We’ll traverse the Selvaggio Blu for 5 days through unspoiled nature, strolling around the coast, but also hiking along narrow paths and rocky cliffs. Besides, there will be some easy climbing (max UIAA 3), though you don’t need to have previous climbing experience. And if you find it savory to abseil over vertical rock walls, consider this your trip!
Finally, just before Cala Gonone, we will take the time to visit Köhlerwegen.
Every day, the activities will take about 5-6 hours. The requirements for this trail running tour are being on a good fitness level as well as holding a basic technique on trail-running.
Curious? The unique sunrises on the sandy beaches of Sardinia awaits you! Send your request and book this incredible trip.
You can also check out some other programmes I offer in famous mountain trails, like this 8-day hiking in Mallorca’s Tramuntana Mountains.

Mountain Guide
My passion for nature and the mountains led me to become a mountain guide. I started my career as a pilot and, for a while, dedicated my life to university. However, over the years, my love for the mountains increased.
Since then, I have been working as a mountain guide, taking my clients on great ski and climbing adventures. I guide around my country and also around Europe: Spain, Italy, France, England, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Norway. I sometimes also go to Chile, Canada, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
As an IFMGA certified mountain guide, it is a pleasure for me to guide people from all over the world to these amazing destinations. My main objective is to have you enjoy a great time in the mountains while keeping you safe.
I invite you to have a look at the mountain programs and tours I propose. In the case you want to join one of them and if I'm not available, one of my colleagues will guide you.

Rudi was awesome. Very knowledgable and gave me a lot of climbing pointers for via ferrata. Also, super helpful with recommending other great sites in Austria and Germany. I hope to climb with him again when I’m back in central Europe.

Rudi is an experienced mountaineer with a great deal of knowledge about the area and trails available. He coordinated closely with me to determine my skill level and objective for the hike. It was an absolutely terrific day.

Explore-Share took advantage of my inexperience. I had asked for a beginner level trip, instead, they recommended me a rather advanced trip. Neither Explore-Share nor the guide were forthcoming with information until the very last moment. The guide sold my participation to another outfit about a week before the trip. Neither Explore-Share neither the guide are trustworthy and can be relied upon in making arrangements.
