Description
Enjoy a combination of hiking and via ferrata on this wonderful 6-day adventure through the Picos de Europa National Park, Spain.
The Picos de Europa National Park is a beautiful protected natural area in the Cantabrian Mountains. It is also one of the biosphere reserves of the planet and the third most visited park in the country.
During this hike, we will admire the views and wildlife of this amazing park as well as enjoy the tranquility of its surroundings. We’ll walk around 14 km per day through both high alpine areas and low valleys. That’s why a very good physical condition will be necessary.
Also, you can choose to take a via ferrata experience over alpine territory on the first day of the tour. It’s an optional activity independent of the hike. In fact, after the trip, you can stay a few more days and arrange more activities such as rock climbing or even other via ferratas on the typical limestone walls of the area.

I have lived and played in the mountains my entire life so becoming a mountain guide was a natural progression from turning my hobby into my profession. I simply followed my passion and now my work is what I love to do the most. I feel very fortunate to do something I am excited about everyday and guide interesting people in spectacular natural environments.
I am a certified rock climbing guide, canyoning guide, and international mountain leader guide (UIMLA). I am the only native English speaker in the Spanish Mountain Guides Association. I guide all over Spain but also other parts of Europe and South America.
