Located on the southern slope of the Pyrenees, Andorra experiences fantastic snow during winters. Join me to discover the stunning beauty of these Andorran mountains on this 6-day snowshoeing trip. We will walk inches deep in powder snow under the bright sun on this fun trip!
The tour can be enjoyed with your complete family and we can further customize it based on your preferences. And, did you know Caldea, the largest spa in Europe is also there in the area? What a perfect way would it be to unwind after a long day!
To warm-up, we will start from the Ordino pass and advance towards the mountain of Bony de les Neres (2211m). The trail leads through a forest offering stunning views. And if you are lucky, you might as well spot a few mouflons or capercaillies on the way!
The next day, we will set out towards the plateaus of Rabassa. The landscape will become softer and the snowy expanses would seem neverending. It will be a sight like no other!
Thereafter, we will explore the Incles Valley and the spectacular Llac dels Pessons. It will be a delight to cross so many streams and hamlets on the way in so scenic a setting. The trail will lead onto the Port of Incles from where you will get to appreciate the frozen lakes of Fontargent. The lakes at Pessons, also frozen are surrounded by needle-like peaks which look simply outstanding.
Finally, we will spend the last morning visiting the Sorteny Nature Reserve. It will be such an enriching experience to explore the wildlife along with enjoying snowy vistas.

We will greet you with a welcome drink and brief you at 19:00 at the hotel about the tour plan.
To warm up on your snowshoes, we will begin from the Ordino pass and head towards the Bony de les Neres (2211m) for a loop in the forest. Here, you will see exceptional views of the Andorran mountains. And if you are lucky, you might as well spot the mouflon or the capercaillie!
The afternoon can end in a perfect way relaxing in Caldéa, the famous leisure spa.

Walking time: 4 hours
We will head towards the plateaus of La Rabassa in the south of the country. The landscapes become softer and the snowy expanses seem to be neverending, extending beyond infinity. We will cross over to the Spanish side and admire the Sierra del Cadi.
Elevation gain: 300 m
Walking time: 5 hours
We will head towards the valley of Incles following the stream. We will cross hamlets and sheepfolds and continue towards the beautiful lakes of Juclar. The scenery almost changes, and it will be spectacular to see the granite peaks along with its streams.
From here, we’ll go up to the Port of Incles to appreciate the frozen lakes of Fontargent.
The afternoon can again be spent relaxing in Caldéa.

Walking time: 5 hours
We will visit this magnificent lakeside area surrounded by granite cirques. Here, you will discover several frozen lakes surrounded by snow-covered needle peaks which looks spectacular.
Elevation gain: 450 m
Walking time: 5 hours
The last morning will be spent in the Sorteny Nature Reserve. You will explore its wildlife and snowy valleys and cross many frozen streams in so beautiful a setting.
Thereafter, we will depart after lunch.
