6-day ski touring trip in Lofoten, Norway

Located within the Artic Circle, off the coast of Norway, the Lofoten archipelago is ideal for ski touring. Its unique location allows warm gulf-stream currents to create large snowfalls and a mild climate. You’ll spend six days surrounded by rocky mountains and fascinating blue fjords. You’ll never want to leave Lofoten!

We’ll fly into Evenes and spend the first night at a hotel close to the airport. The next day, on our way to Svolvear/Kabelvag, we’ll enjoy a quick ski tour and end the day on the Rorbuer. We’ll spend the following five days ski touring around Kabelvag. You’ll be able to experience astonishing places such as Torksmannen, Rundfilliet, Stethinden, and so many more. We’ll drive together to the Evenes airport for your trip back home.

Our accommodation during these amazing days will be in Rorbuers, in the fishing village of Kabelvag, which will allow us to access outstanding tracks and slopes for ski touring. In the evening, you’ll experience the exotic Norwegian cuisine, with dishes full of fresh fish.

This trip is recommended for people in good physical health to ascend and ski between 700 and 1,200 vertical meters per day.
