6-day Mountain biking tour from Vail to Aspen

Crossing the Rockies on a mountain bike can be one of the most rewarding experiences out there. Heading from Vail to Aspen is one of the best route you could take!

Join one of our certified guides for an unforgettable six-day mountain biking experience that does just that! Beginning in lovely Vail, Colorado, we will spend a day or so acclimatizing and doing a few local rides, including heading up to Vail Pass, at 3.000 meters in elevation.

We will eventually leave Vail and head west toward Glenwood Springs, passing along the top of this famous canyon with spectacular views back down into it.

From Glenwood Springs, we will begin to head south toward Red Stone. This will take us through the heart of the Elk Mountains as well as along the famed Red Stone cliffs and the hamlet of Red Stone.

The historic city is worth a visit and we’ll be sure to spend a night there exploring what Colorado mountain towns used to be.

We will then make our way to the final leg of the trip, biking down past Aspen and along the trail to the stunning Maroon Bells and along the Ashcroft Loop.

Here we pass through some of Colorado’s most iconic scenery: the purplish hue and distinctive shape fo the iconic bells as well as the beautiful deep green foliage of the Aspen trees that surround the trail.

Once we arrive back in Aspen our trip is over, but your longing to return here will only be beginning.
