The Posets-Maladeta Natural Park gets its name from the Posets and Maladeta massifs. It is a truly magical place where you will find most of the 3,000-meter peaks of the Pyrenees. On this trip, we’ll ascend the peaks of Aragüells in the Vallibierna Valley, and the Picos Gías and Claravides in the Estós Valley. The ascents will give us unforgettable views of the whole park, and of beautiful mountain lakes and will allow us to go through wonderful paths through thick forests. We’ll drive to the Coronas Refuge and ascend to the top. We’ll get views of: South of Maladeta, Aneto, Vallibierna y Culebres, Posets, Cregüeña Lake, and others.
Distance: 8 Km. Elevation gain/loss: +1,0680m. –1,068m.
We’ll follow the GR path to the Refuge. We’ll go by the Lakes of Batisielles and Escarpinosa, one of the most beautiful spots in the Pyrenees.
Distance: 9 Km. Elevation gain/loss: +800m. –320m.
Four peaks in one day! We’ll ascend Pico Gias and the East, West and Central summits of Clarabides going by the lake of Gías.
Elevation gain/loss: +1,253m. –1,130m.
Hike back to the car.
