With 4,167 meters, the Mount Toubkal is the highest peak in Morocco and in North Africa. It is located in the Toubkal National Park and belongs to the Atlas mountain range.
This mountain is 60 kilometers from the City of Marrakech. It will be our starting point. I can pick you up at the airport and drive you to the hotel if you wish. At the beginning and the end of the trip, you will have some time to enjoy the typical mosques and palaces of the city.
During the ascent, we will visit the lovely village of Imlil (1,720 meters) and the Toubkal Refuge at 3,207 meters of height before you reach the summit.
Take into account that it is very important to have a medium level of fitness for this ascent. My last recommendation is to bring:
Waterproof boots
Trekking pants
Breathable thermal shirt
Gloves and hat
Sleeping bag and mat
Trekking poles
Replacement clothing
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
Windbreaker/raincoat
So come with me on this ascent to the Toubkal and enjoy the feeling of reaching the highest peak in the area. I will be happy to safely guide you on this adventure.

Since I was a kid I travelled around the hills and peaks of Sierra Nevada range in south Spain, going up and down the valleys that made me in love with the mountains world.
Steadily, I discovered other ranges of the Iberic peninsula such as the Pyrenees and Picos de Europa, and then I travelled to the peruvian Andes, the Amazonas jungle, the Moroccan Atlas...
Thanks to these experiences and two years of studying to become a professional mountain guide, I started a new project called Nevalia mountain guides.
I hope I can help you to make true your mountain dreams!

The trip was great. Unfortunately, due to very bad weather conditions, we were not able to climb to the top of the Toubkal
