5-day Singletrack mountain biking tour in Crested Butte

Situated just 65 kilometers southwest of iconic Aspen, Crested Butte is a mountain biker’s paradise!

With hundreds of kilometers of trails to explore, there is more than you could possibly see here in an entire lifetime.

With that in mind, we will focus our efforts on two of the top spots in the area: Paradise Divide and Teocalli Ridge.

Located to the north and northeast of the town, respectively, these two offer some challenging uphills with plenty of rewarding views and exhilarating downhills to follow.

Paradise Divide is a 34,6 kilometer loop that will take us about half of a day and is rated as easy. We’ll take our time, snapping pictures of incredible mountain views along the way.

The Teocalli Ridge loop is a bit shorter, at 18.5 kilometers in length, but much tougher. Over the course of it, we will ascend about 600 meters, up to the summit of Teocalli Mountain.

The views from the top are unbeatable and we pass through one of Colorado’s prettiest wildflower fields on the way.

Depending on the weather and your preferences, we’ll head to various other trails over the course of the five-days, camping at different spots each night.
