5-day Colorado Haute route tour

This 5-day Colorado Haute route tour will take you on some of the best ski terrain in the hut system.

This program explores the southern area of the Gore Range. This mountain range forms part of the famous Rocky Mountains of Colorado in the United States.

During our 5-day adventure we'll stay in 3 of the most traditional and best located mountain huts in the area.

We'll spend the first 2 nights in the Jackal Hut. This hut lies near the timberline and has an amazing nearby skiing area. It also offers some incredible views of the highest peaks in the area.

On the third day, we will head north to spend the night at the recently remodeled Fowler Hut. This hut is located approximately 10 kilometers west of the Vail Pass.

The last night of this trip will be spent at the Shrine Mountain Inn on the Vail Pass. This final accommodation option consists of three separate cabins with more facilities than the others. It has a shared sauna and propane grills as well, so you will get to enjoy a luxurious final night!
