The High Atlas are an incredible mountain range that run through central Morocco. The old rocks here are great for climbing, and offer different challenges on each ridge. From scrambling to multi-pitch, you will find an exciting route that will test your skills as a climber!
My program is a technical climber´s dream – I can design a program that will increase your efficiency and prepare you to take on mountains and climbs all over the world. Whether you want to take on a big route, reach higher peaks, or just improve all around, I have a course for you!
Our first day will take us from Marrakech into the range, and we will leave early enough to get us to the mountain refuge for the night. You will settle in at 3,200 meters and cover about 10km in distance.
The next three days will include routes and courses catered to your needs and skills. We can climb Toubkal West at over 4,000m, we can traverse Ras Timesguida, and we can take on the Clochetons (3,963m). The options are endless, and we can make sure you have the time of your life.
Most of the routes in the program are fairly difficult to difficult, so prior climbing experience is paramount. You should be in good physical shape, and you should have the mental fortitude for challenging climbs.
I can extend the trip an extra day, or I can shorten it. My top notch coaching ability was made for this, so I would be more than happy to walk you through the program that you need.
Book this NOW and enjoy the better part of a week climbing the remarkable High Atlas on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Morocco!
If you´d like, I can take you to the Anti-Atlas for some multi-pitch climbing. Or I can show you a program in the Tazaghart Plateau!

I hold the Mountaineering Instructor Certificate (MIC) and I'm a keen summer and winter climber. Originally from California, I lived in Morocco for ten years, most recently in the High Atlas mountain village of Imlil, and I'm currently based in the UK. I come alive in the mountains and love my role as a climbing and mountaineering instructor and seeing people equipped for their own adventures.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
