Description

Your once in a lifetime adventure begins as soon as you touchdown at Kathmandu’s international airport.

We will meet you there and shuttle you to your hotel. You will then have the rest of the day to explore this historic city. The next day we will embark on a sightseeing tour, visiting the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, Swayambhu Nath (the famous Monkey Temple) and the Buddhist shrine of Bouddha Nath, all three of which are listed UNESCO World Heritage sights.

We will spend one more day in Kathmandu preparing for our trip before boarding our private shuttle the next morning and beginning the two day drive to Nyalam, where we will spend an additional two days acclimatizing. The drive will be far from uneventful as we will pass through the beautiful scenery that is the Himalayan foothills before crossing over the border into Tibet.

After another day of driving to base camp, we will spend a couple more days acclimatizing there before trekking our way to advanced base camp. After another brief period of acclimatizing, we will spend the next month mountaineering our way to the summit.

This will be one of the most intense months of your life, but every single second will be well worth the exertion. By the end of it, you will have climbed the fourteenth tallest mountain in the world and collected a plethora of unforgettable memories along the way. Not to mention, the views are spectacular and though you are not quite there, you will feel like you are on top of the world!

Afterward, we will make our way back down to advanced base camp and then to regular base camp before driving back to Kathmandu. There you will have two more free days to enjoy the city and reflect on the journey before we take you back to the airport and we bid you farewell.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this adventure of a lifetime, trekking through the remote Tibetan wilderness and conquering one of the world’s tallest mountains!

Our guide Dr Flemming was excellent. He went above and beyond what we expected. We felt very safe and well trained to practice our climbing. Location was perfect and even though rain had been forecasted, they worked with us to make sure we could climb safely.

    Damilola

I had an enlightening day with Roger, the experience has increased my desire to learn more about rock climbing and commit time to mountaineering and absolute pleasure worth every minute of my time and money.
