4-day Trail running adventure in Crested Butte and Aspen

Nothing beats running with a view and in the stunning wilderness between Aspen and Crested Butte, there are plenty of views!

Join our certified guide for an intense but rewarding four-day trail running adventure in which we will explore some of the area’s most stunning landscapes, while getting in plenty of kilometers along the way.

There are several different options for what we can do, depending on your preferences and level of fitness.

Each day, we will run an average of 8 to 16 kilometers, over varied terrains and at different elevations. It is important to arrive in the mountains a few days before the trip in order to acclimatize prior to our first day.

Over the course of the four days, we will run through the iconic Aspen forests outside of Aspen; the Elks Ridge Traverse, in which we will run shoulder deep through a beautiful array fo wild flowers; and several of the trails and loops between Aspen and Crested Butte.

As we go, expect plenty of scenic vistas of the surrounding mountains, meadows and valleys. We’ll even try to head by a few waterfalls as we go in order to give you the full Colorado wilderness experience.
