4-day rock climbing tour in the Cantabrian mountains

This 4-day rock climbing tour in the Cantabrian mountains will take you climbing to the most beautiful places in northern Spain!

Picos de Europa and Montaña de León are two of the most special places for rock climbing in Spain. Both are located in the north of the country, just a few hours from Madrid, in the Cantabrian mountain range.

This area is famous for its beautiful landscape with unique a scenery. There are lots of trails for hiking and also beautiful beaches, but the Rock climbing routes are what we are going there for… and they are marvellous!

My plan is to take you to a different route every day, so you can get a glimpse of the best spots over there.

The first 2 days will be at the Montaña de León. On the first day we’ll go to the Lago de Luna route, which is a long one with more than 200 meters of solid and comfortable rock, that has an easy approach and surrounded by a great beauty. And on the second we’ll go to the Peña del Pincuejo, where we can choose between the Línea Blanca and the Directa Diedros. 

Then there is a day off, when we can move to Picos de Europa. And the last 2 days we’ll climb the Naranjo de Bulnes and the Peña de Fresnidiello
