Massif des Calanques
4 Days
Jun - Aug
Challenge yourself with this 4-day rock climbing course in Gorges du Verdon. You'll have the chance to climb your first big wall or take on increasingly difficult walls in the company of a professional mountain guide!
Amateur climbers who want to learn big wall ascent and security techniques are the target of this course. Additionally, climbers who already have some big wall experience but want to take their skills one step up will also profit from the experience.
The course is also a great opportunity to spend 4 days immersed in the beautiful Gorges du Verdon area. Famous as a multi-pitch climbing destination, its several hundred-meters-high limestone walls attract rock climbers from every corner of the world.
On our first day together, we will meet at La Palud-sur-Verdon and spend the morning on a learning wall. There, we will evaluate participants' level. During the next few days, we'll have the chance to learn key moves and practice multi-pitch climbing. The purpose is for you to take advantage of the course to tackle some walls outside your comfort zone!
Both for security reasons and for you to profit from the learning experience, I can only take from 2 to 4 people on this course. Additionally, you can choose whether to stay in a B&B (all-inclusive option) or in a camping site.

It was our first time outdoor bouldering and Ivan was extremely friendly and prioritized safety. He also helped guide us through the different routes and outdoor bouldering techniques.

My teenage son and I spent two afternoons in April bouldering with our guide, Leo, in Fontainebleau. Leo was an excellent guide and teacher. He selected boulders that were both challenging and within our skill level. Leo also share fun information about the area we were bouldering in and gave helpful information to make sure we got to the right place at the right time. We highly recommend Leo and would gladly do another bouldering excursion with him.

I was in Paris for a few days and really wanted to try bouldering at Fontainebleau, but since it was my first time and I didn’t have any friends to go with, I wasn’t sure how to make it happen. A quick Google search led me to Explore Share, and even before I booked anything, they were super responsive and helpful with all my questions. On the day itself, my guide Ivan was amazing—he helped me read the routes, build trust in the footholds, figure out the beta, and even showed me how to downclimb safely. Overall, a fantastic experience and I’m so glad I went for it!
Robbie
Leo was great! He was very knowledgeable about Fontainebleau climbing and history. We only had a half day in the area and were able to cram in way more climbing because of his knowledge and expertise. Highly recommended!
