This 4-day Isolation Ski Traverse in the North Cascades will take you through an amazing terrain between the North Cascades Highway and the Cascade River Road, in Washington.
The North Cascades are part of the Cascade Mountain Range, located in the northwest of the United States. They are known for their dramatic and rugged scenery which is perfect for demanding mountaineering.
And this 4-day Isolation Ski Traverse is set to take you skiing for over 32 kilometers and with a 4500 meters of altitude gain. And during this journey we’ll also summit and ski down three breathtaking peaks: Eldorado, Isolation, and Snowfield.
A lot of sections of this route are glaciated and we’ll have to use the rappel technique to go through some of these challenging parts. But our guides are experts and we’ll guide you in the safest possible way.
On the first day we’ll do a lot of climbing to get to our camp on the Inspiration Glacier. But this will pay off the next day when we ski down the pristine slopes of Eldorado Peak.
Then we’ll traverse the beautiful McAllister Glacier and go on to rappel down to the Backbone Ridge. On the third day we’ll climb with crampons to Isolation Peak summit and of course another ski descent down will help us reach our last camo on the Neve’ Glacier.
On our last day we’ll ski Neve’ and Colonial Glaciers and go to the Pyramid Peak to ski down to Pyramid Lake.
So don’t hesitate and send us a request to make this incredible 4-day Isolation Ski Traverse in the North Cascades happen for you!

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

All perfect

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
