Let me show you the way to the most beautiful and emblematic mountain huts in north Patagonia with this 4-day hut-to-hut hiking traverse in Bariloche.
This 4-day hike connects 4 mountain huts through a varied and beautiful landscape. The imposing views, beautiful lagoons, endless green valleys and thick forests make this trekking an unforgettable experience. At the same time to spend the nights at different and remote huts is a wonderful and additional feature of this amazing program.
The traverse is designed to take you hiking from 4 to 6 hours every day through a mountain trail that connects all the refuges without having to hike down to civilization.
We’ll start from the Catedral ski resort and go to Frey mountain hut on the first day. The next day we’ll go over a pass to the Rucaco Valley and all the way to the San Martin mountain hut, next to the Laguna Jakob. On the third day we’ll go on a steep and demanding traverse to the Italian mountain hut in Laguna Negra. And on the last day we’ll stop in the Refugio Lopez on our way down to Bariloche.
This program has so many beautiful features that the only way for you to realize them is to come down to Patagonia and join me!
