Do you want to trek to the end of the world? Then join me on this 4 day trek on the Sierra Valdivieso Circuit!
The Sierra Valdivieso Circuit is located in the Tierra del Fuego National Park in Ushuaia, which is well-known for being the southernmost city in the world. On this trek you will get to experience all of the beautiful nature that Argentine Patagonia boasts, such as the Andean highlands, where the mountains are in the east-west direction given the region’s geography.
We begin our 4 day trek by being transported from Ushuaia over to the Tierra Mayor Valley, and once there, we will spend the 2 days trekking along the circuit via the Beban pass, which is a combination of 2 passes that are about 900 meters high. The following day, we will cross to the Five Lagoon Valley, which are gorgeous highlands filled with animals, rock formations and lagoons. After making our way westward the next morning, we will pass over the Fagnano Lake until descending into the Cabajal Valley above some stunning landscapes. From there, we will return to Ushuaia.
We will be camping throughout the course of this trip, and ask that you bear this in mind when signing up, as it is requested that you bring your own personal gear. If you do not have the gear, we are able to rent it to you should you request it in advance, and you’ll want to, as the Sierra Valdivieso Circuit is featured in the Lonely Planet guide!
Request to book this trip if you have always wanted to trek in Sierra Valdivieso!
