Come explore Teri-La, a recently discovered trekking route located in the Mustang region of Damodar Himal, in Nepal.
An ancient kingdom stands out among the highest peaks of the world. Mustang is a district located in the north of Nepal in the border area with the Tibetan plateau. On this 31 day trek, you will immerse yourself in the culture and landscapes of this interesting region. The combination of nature and culture will allow you to live in first person the uniqueness of Nepal.
This 31-day trek starts in Kathmandu, the capital and biggest city in the country. During the first days of the trip, you will be able to visit some of the typical monasteries of the city. After a few days of preparation, we’ll take a flight to Pokhara, the third biggest city in Nepal. Here you will enjoy the magical environment and the natural diversity of the Phewa Lake, inside the Pokhara Valley.
On the fourth day, we’ll fly to Jomsom and start our trekking tour across Teri-La. During the hike, we will get a bit higher every day until we finally reach the amazing Teri-La Pass at 5,595 meters of height. Please find more details of the itinerary at the end of this description. One of the best things of this program is that it can be done clockwise or vice versa.
The difficulty of this trek is high. That means that a high level of fitness and an extensive previous trekking experience are requirements for everyone who wants to take part of this trip.

We will transfer you from the airport to the Hotel and give you all the information needed for the trek. You’ll enjoy the rest of the day off.
Among the main points of interest in the city, you can visit the Pashupati Nath, the Swayambhu Nath and the Bouddha Nath, three amazing monasteries. Day of preparation before starting the trek.
We’ll fly to Pokhara and transfer you to the Hotel. You will be able to take a tour around the city to admire its beautiful lakes, rivers, woods and the astonishing view of the Himalayas.
Flight from Pokhara to Jomsom (2,720 meters). Our trek to Kagbeni (2,800 meters) will take around 3 to 4 hours. We’ll spend the night in our camp.
Trek to Tsaile (3,100 meters) for about 5 to 6 hours. Night in the camp.
Trek to Ghiling (3,570 meters) during 6 to 7 hours across the Rangchung / Chungsi cave monastery. Night in the camp.
Trek to Tsarang (3,560 meters) for 6 to 7 hours. Night in the camp.
A 7-8 hours trek to Lo-Manthang (3,840 meters) through Ghar Gompa & Marang-La Pass (4,230 meters). Night in the camp.
We’ll explore the Wall city of Lo-Manthang. Night in our camp.
Trek to Yara (3,900 meters) for 6 to 7 hours. Night in our camp.
We’ll visit the Luri Cave Monastery. This will take us around 4 to 5 hours. Night in the camp.
A 6 to 7 hours trek to Tangya (3,240 meters). Night in the camp.
Trek to Yak Kharka (4,100 meters) for 5 to 6 hours. Night in the camp.
A 4 to 5 hours trek to Samena Khola (4,220 meters). Night in our camp.
Trek to Teri-La Base Camp (4,630 meters) during 6 to 7 hours.
We’ll take a day off to rest after such an intensive tour.
A 4 to 5 hour trek from Teri-La Base Camp to Teri-La High Camp (5,100 meters). Night in tents.
A 6 to 7 hour trek from Teri-La High Camp to Teri-La Phedi (5,000 meters) through the stunning Teri-La Pass at 5,595 meters. Night in tents.
Trek to Labse Khola (4,800 meters) during 4 to 5 hours. Night in the camping site.
Trek to Yak Kharka (4,600 meters) for 6 to 7 hours. Night in tents.
A 6 to 7 hours of trek to Naar Gaon (4,110 meters). Night in the camp.
Trek to Kyang (3,800 meters). This trek will take us from 5 to 6 hours. Night in our camp.
A 3 to 4 hour trek to Phu Gaon (3,900 meters). Night in the camp.
Trek to Meta (3,560 meters) for 5 to 6 hours. Night in tents.
A 6 to 7 hours of trekking to Koto (2,600 meters). Night in tents.
Trek to Dharapani (1,860 meters) for 5 to 6 hours. Night in the camp.
A 5 to 6 hour trek to Jagat (1,300 meters). Night in our camp.
Trek to Ngadi (930 meters) for 5 to 6 hours. Night in the camp.
We’ll start a 1,5 hour trek to Bhulbhule and drive to Kathmandu for 6 to 7 hours.
You will enjoy a free day in the city and spend the night in the Hotel.
We’ll transfer you to the airport and say goodbye.

Our guide Dr Flemming was excellent. He went above and beyond what we expected. We felt very safe and well trained to practice our climbing. Location was perfect and even though rain had been forecasted, they worked with us to make sure we could climb safely.
