Description

Located in the border area between Spain and France, Vignemale belongs to the Pyrenees. With 3,298 meters above sea level, it is the highest point in the French Pyrenees. This peak constitutes a wonderful descent for splitboarding. Come and discover it on this 3-day program.

Our trip will start in Panticosa, in the province of Huesca, Spain. During the whole traverse, we will have the chance to enjoy splitboarding in this stunning region.  On the first day of the program, we will ascend to the Puerto de Bacías and descend from the Collado de Oulettes. While doing this, we will contemplate the incredible view of the Vignemale northern side. Our second day will be amazing. We will get to the top of the Vignemale and enjoy one of the best descents in the Pyrenees. Finally, on our third day, we will return to Panticosa and enjoy splitboarding in the area.

The accommodation for the first two nights will be at the Oulettes refuge. As for the last night, we can go to the Casa de Piedra refuge or to a hotel.

This trip is demanding. Therefore, you need prior splitboarding or skiing experience and a very good fitness level to join. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you on the way.

Ready for a fantastic splitboarding adventure in the Pyrenees? Send your request now and start planning this traverse to the Vignemale.

I also lead a splitboarding trip in the Aigües Tortes National Park, inside the Pyrenees. Take a look at it!

Fede was amazing.

Fantastic climb! We were the only people climbing the normal route so we had the mountain to ourselves. Fede was great, highly professional, and he assessed the risks very well. Highly recommended!
