3-day ski tour from Finse to the Hardangerfjord

This 3-day ski tour from Finse to the Hardangerfjord might be the most beautiful skiing trip in Norway!

The Hardangerfjord is located in western Norway, in the county of Hordaland. With 179 km it’s the second longest fjord in the country, only after Sognefjord. And I’ll take you skiing through it!!!

This ski trip will take you through many scenic gems, that will remain stuck in your mind for ever. We’ll start from Finse (1222 m), a small mountain village just in front of the lake Finsevatnet shore, that can only be accessed by railway.

From here we’ll ski across the glacier with a rope and harness, to maximize security, for around 6 hours. The next day we’ll continue down the Hardangerfjord and finish at Eidfjord where we’ll take a transfer to Voss railway station or Geilo.
