3-day Rock climbing tour in Sierra de Gredos from Madrid: Torreon de los Galayos, Vía Mari Paz (Villarejo)

Would you like to explore one of the best rock climbing areas in Spain? Then come to Madrid and follow me to Sierra de Gredos: let’s get ready for an awesome 3-day adventure!

Sierra de Gredos is one of the larger mountain ranges of the Central System. Spanning the provinces of Ávila, Salamanca, Cáceres, Madrid, and Toledo, it is protected by a Natural Park. Comprising five river valleys, huge granite walls and beautiful lagoons, it features breathtaking landscapes.

On this 3-day trip (2 days of rock climbing), we will discover why Sierra de Gredos is a premium destination for rock climbing lovers. After driving to Guisando on the first day, we will spend one day in Torreon de Galayos and another one in Riscos de Villarejo!

With 40 granite peaks, Galayos offers about 250 climbing routes for all tastes and levels. There,  we will head up the “Sur Clásica”, a 180-meter V+ route. At Villarejo, also called, “Riscos del Tío Pasito”, we will climb the “Via Mari Paz”, a 220-meter V+ route.
