Give your children the opportunity to explore the amazing Yellowstone National Park! This backpacking tour will take you through beautiful meadows, an incredible pristine lake and up on an alpine ridge where you will enjoy one of the best views in the park.
This ideal trip for families is a moderate hike with short distances. During this 3-day trek, kids will have the opportunity to connect with Mother Nature by camping in Cascade Lake, a beautiful place with excellent fishing.
One of the highlights of our trip will be to hike to the top of Observation Peak (9397 ft / 2864 m). Participants will discover an abandoned, rustic fire lookout and a 360-degree panorama of the States of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. The exceptional views will make this hike a rewarding experience!
Also, we will trek to Grebe Lake. This popular destination for backpackers and fishermen is a fantastic area for wildlife. Keep in mind that Yellowstone National Park is home to bears, mooses, wolves, bisons and many other species.
This backpacking tour will be the perfect place for your children to experience their first hiking adventure. So if you are interested, please send us a request, and we’ll make sure you have an incredible time exploring the backcountry of Montana!
If you are looking for a shorter trip, have a look at this 2-day Observation Peak Trek in Yellowstone.
