Climb the main peaks of the Sierra Nevada National Park -all mountains of above 3000 meters high- with this great 3-day “Integral de Sierra Nevada” trek, starting from Jérez del Marquesado, in the Granada province.
The program has a duration of three days and two nights, in a self-supply mode, sleeping in open-air mountain bivouacs and shelters. This means each participant must carry what is necessary to spend these days in the mountain.
Our route begins at the Jérez del Marquesado municipality area, specifically at the Postero Alto refuge, at 1880m high, and ends at the viewpoint of La Rinconada de Nigüelas.
Along the route, we will climb more than 15 emblematic summits of more than 3000 meters of altitude. We will ascend amazing peaks such as El Picón de Jerez (3090m), Alcazaba (3366m), Mulhacén (3482m), Cerro de los Machos (3327m), Veleta (3396m), Elorrieta (3183m), Tozal del Cartujo (3152m), Caballo (3013m), and many others.
Bear in mind this is a highly demanding trek, requiring an excellent fitness level, as well as previous experience in mountain routes.
So if you want to experience this unique trek in the Sierra Nevada mountains, just check the dates below and join us on a group departure, or you could also join us on a private tour. Book your trip and get ready for an unforgettable trek!

Great guide. Super accommodating and informative. Route was slightly too easy where only the first third felt like via ferrata whilst the rest was more of a hike
Brooks

Absolutely loved our day out doing the Via Ferratta in El Chorro. Our guide Alejandro was brilliant at talking us through each step and the safety was always priority. Such beautiful scenery and the zip wire was the best!. Would definitely recommend. 😃 Thanks for a great day out brilliant memories to cherish.

We enjoyed the climbing at El Chorro. Our guide was very friendly and accommodating. There were several communication issues due to the guide's English and our lack of Spanish, but we worked through them. Just made the situation tense sometimes because we are experienced climbers and communication is key to safe climbing. The biggest challenge with Sendero Sur Aventura was the slow, untimely communication. We had to wait until the evening before for trip details, including location. We were climbing with a very young child and planning for him based on time, location, temperature, approach, activities while not climbing, was very important. It was very stressful to accomplish this planning with the slow communication of trip details.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
