Head into the Chilean Central Andes near Santiago and enjoy a three-day heliskiing adventure with all the bells and whistles! This guided program provides the best skiing conditions in the Andes and combines it with immaculate lodging at the five-star Puma Lodge for the ultimate heliskiing experience and three days of skiing bliss!

Located just southeast of Santiago, Chile’s bustling capital, the Puma Lodge is set in the profound landscape of the Central Andes, in the midst of its peaks and valleys. From the Cipreses River and the greater Rio Los Cipreses National Reserve, you have access to hundreds of hectares of some of South America’s most captivating ski terrain.

With peaks soaring above 4,500 meters, you will take on Alpine bowls, open runs, narrow chutes, glades, steep couloirs, and everything in between. With nine hours of air time dedicated to two groups, you are guaranteed four and a half hours of chopper access to the remote beauty of the whole region.

To make matters even more outstanding, you will return from long days of heliskiing to the comfort of the Puma Lodge and all of its amenities. Relax in outdoor hot tubs and a pool, bump up the fun in the game room, enjoy a wine tasting and gourmet dinner at Alto Las Lenas, or just sit back and take in the scenery. There is no better way to match world-class mountains than with the pinnacle of five-star accommodations.

You have three full days to enjoy the terrain, where I will help guide you to the best runs in the region. We can head into undiscovered pockets of powder, pioneering our own lines through the gorgeous landscape of rugged Chile.

You should be in great shape to participate in the program, with enough experience, proficiency, and comfort to handle multiple days in a challenging backcountry. We can alter the program to fit the needs and abilities of the group, but you should have the capabilities to handle yourself on difficult slopes and runs.

Book this unforgettable guided heliskiing program in the Chilean Central Andes NOW and experience three days of pristine powder and the exceptional all-inclusive services of the Puma Lodge for one of Chile’s best skiing adventures but a stone’s throw from Santiago!

If three days just isn’t enough, we can also get you into a six-day all-inclusive heliskiing program in the Chilean Central Andes near Santiago!

Itinerary

Day 0: Day Before

You will arrive in Santiago where a representative will guide you to your transport via van or helicopter to the Puma Lodge. I will meet with you at the lodge for a gear check and briefing, as well as a safety clinic with avalanche beacon instruction.

Day 1: Introduction to the Andes

After a hearty breakfast, we will head into the Andes and get accustomed to the incredible terrain. With runs starting at over 4,500 meters, it is a great day for learning the ropes of the Chilean landscape and getting ready for your week ahead.

After a full day of heliskiing, we will return to the Puma Lodge and bask in the luxurious amenities that await us.

Day 2: Heliskiing

Today we will return to the heights of the Andes. As we become more familiar with the terrain and the elevation, we can start to push higher into the mountains and look for fresh powder to pioneer.

If anyone needs a break to rest their bones from the incredible skiing, there are options on to explore nearby hot springs, go horseback riding, or simply hang back at the lodge and enjoy a day off the slopes.

Day 3: Last Day

After our final unforgettable runs in the Andes, we will pack up from the Puma Lodge and head to a five-star hotel in Santiago for our last night. Take in the sights and sounds of Chile’s capital while looking back on the best heliskiing trip of your life!

Wonderful memories!!!

Great guides, great equipment, amazed about how good food was. All round a very experienced and top end operator who know what they are doing and will maximise your chances of getting to the summit. Reaching top Aconcagua was one of greatest highlights of my life thank you Aventuras Patagonicas.

From the start Aventuras Patagonicas was welcoming, which set the trip up on the right foot. The guides, Wes, Lucia and Sebastian were all excellent and worked very hard to get the group of climbers safely up and down the mountain. The food was excellent and well organized. The gear provided on the mountain (tents) were also of good quality. I would climb again with Patagonicas.

I did a 20 day climb of Aconcagua with this company. The guides were excellent and made the trip as enjoyable as possible. We had hot meals every evening and morning. Aconcagua is a hard mountain and it takes a great deal of effort to reach the top. The guides at Patagonicas are committed to each client's safety on the mountain. I would recommend them over any other company on the mountain.
