Hike the spectacular Grandview Trail on the south rim of the Grand Canyon National Park.
Offering incredible natural views and the deep solitude of the canyon landscape, the trail also passes rich cultural history, as we hike an historic indigenous route built for the Last Chance copper mine in 1890. Although extracting 70% pure copper, it never become profitable and the tiresome work dried up in 1916.
The remnants of the mine and its machinery remain part of the landscape, culturally preserved in the US National Register of Historic Places.
We’ll then hike to Horseshoe Mesa before dropping westwards to Cottonwood Creek, a remote camp that is hidden between the cottonwood trees. Its spring-fed creek is the perfect place to seek solitude and stargaze.
Next up is the Old Grandview Trail, the stunning 6-mile round trip to the Colorado River. An ancient trail that was built in the 1800s by a miner, has been left unmaintained for half a century. It’s since become a hidden route and is only known to those who call the Grand Canyon their second home. It is the perfect trail to seek the ruggedness of the canyon and reach beyond the trickle of crowds.
Due to the generally rugged terrain in which we are going to hike along, as well as the trail being loose and steep in places, it is recommended that you have a good level of fitness. Also, you should be comfortable with hiking for several hours without many breaks.
Reserve your place now among the majestic landscape of the Grand Canyon. Follow the Grandview Trail on this 3-day trip and experience one of the world’s premier natural attractions.

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
