Mount Jefferson (3,199 m.) is the second highest peak in Oregon. In this 3-day mountaineering adventure you will reach its summit via the West Rib under expert guidance.
We will head up to the top of Jefferson via the West Rib, a fabulous and the most direct route to its summit. It can be covered with snow, so you should come prepared for a very challenging climb on a difficult terrain.
Located on the Jefferson-Linn county line, Mount Jefferson is an extinct stratovolcano of the Cascade Volcanic Arc, part of the Cascade Range. Its craggy and glacially appearance makes it especially photogenic. Furthermore, it is considered one of the most difficult mountaineering spots of the higher volcanoes.
