If you are looking for a not so challenging climb with an excellent view, this 3-day ascent to the Ishinca Mountain is perfect for you.
The Ishinca is located in the Cordillera Blanca inside the Peruvian Andes. With 5,550 meters above sea level, it is an amazing example of the Andean landscapes which is full of incredible snow-covered peaks.
We’ll start our trip in Huaraz. As for the itinerary, on day 1 we’ll drive to Pashpa and then hike to the Base Camp (4,350 meters) across the Ishinca Valley. This hike will last around 4 to 5 hours. The following day, we’ll reach the Ishinca summit where you’ll enjoy the view of the beautiful surrounding peaks and then return to the base after a 13 to 14 hour climb. Finally, on the last day, we’ll return to Pashpa and then drive to Huaraz.
During this ascent, we’ll be able to take the northeast ridge to hike up and then descend through the southwest ridge, which will allow us to enjoy a fantastic journey. Remember that although this climb is not too difficult, it is important to have a good level of fitness.
So what are you waiting for? Come with me and discover the amazing surroundings of the Ishinca from its summit. Send your request now! It will be a pleasure to safely guide you through this incredible ascent.

Percy executed our plan well. He came up with several options after Huascaran was deemed unclimbable. I will be back to climb with Percy again. He runs a great trip.
