3-day Black Canyon Hike in Yellowstone Park

The Black Canyon in Yellowstone National Park is a remote and incredible trail along the northern border of the park. Join us on this amazing 3-day adventure to explore the beautiful flora and fauna of the world’s first national park.

The Black Canyon trail follows the Yellowstone River through 18.5 miles (or 29.8 km). Its well maintained trails offer spectacular camping places to enjoy nature even more.

Some of the places we can enjoy include Hell-Roaring Trailhead (where the trail begins), Blacktail Plateau Trail, Eagle Creek Campground, Rattle Snake Butte and Bear Creek.  We’ll also be able to see bison, antelopes, elk, deers and badgers.

The whole trail offers impressive views of the river and the park. The river is over 1,000 feet deep and in some places it drops to barely 15 feet. The change generates impressive sights and beautiful falls.

This is a beginner to moderate trip with exciting ascents, descents, narrow paths and bridge crossings.
