22-day expedition to Himlung Himal in the Himalayas

Join the high Himalayan Himlung Himal expedition that takes us through remote villages to the border between Nepal and Tibet. Climb to a peak of 7,126 meters and witness the beauty and remoteness of nature.

Few outsiders have ever reached this remote area of Nepal, where ancient culture and customs prevail.

Sandwiched between the Manaslu and Annapurna mountain ranges, this region is ideal for stunning panoramas.

We will pass through the two Tibetan villages of Nar and Phu, an exotic region that offers magestic mountain views of the snow-capped scenery.

Beginning in Kathmandu, the next two days involve official formalities and expedition preparations. After a couple of days of driving into the mountainside, we arrive in Koto before hiking to Metha. From here we will head to Chaju and then to the village of Pho.

After reaching the Himlung base camp, established at 4,900 meters, we will have 8 days of climbing around the region, before returning on the route that we came from.

There are usually three high camps that are established to reach the summit, with camp 1 at a height of 5,450 meters, camp 2 at 6,000 meters, and camp 3 at 6,350 meters.

Due to the level of difficulty involved, and length of days hiking and climbing, participants are expected to have a goof level of fitness, as well as having previous experience.
