Would you like to reach the summit of Monte Civetta and live an unforgettable experience in the Dolomites? Then you can’t miss this 2-day program in the via ferrata degli Alleghesi.
Located in the province of Belluno, Monte Civetta reaches an altitude of 3,220 meters and is one of the iconic mountains in the Dolomites. On this 2-day adventure, we’ll take the via ferrata degli Alleghesi to its summit.
On the first day of the program, we’ll start at 7 am in the Palafavera lifts and go to the starting point of the route. This long and impressive via ferrata invites us to enjoy hanging at an altitude of 900 meters to contemplate the marvelous north side of the mountain. Always surrounded by dazzling views, we’ll follow the equipped route and face several steep sections on our way.
After we reach the summit, we’ll take a break and descend to the Torrani Refuge, where we’ll spend the night. On the second day, we’ll continue the descent through the normal route and finish the program.
Please, keep in mind that this via ferrata is technically difficult and requires prior via ferrata experience as well as a very good level of fitness.
So, are you ready for this via ferrata adventure to the top of Monte Civetta? Then contact me by sending your request and we’ll start making all the arrangements to make it happen. You won’t regret it!
You can also check out this program that I lead to the via ferrata delle Trincee on the Marmolada Group.

Mountain Guide
I was born in the plain in 1983, but as often happens to those who were born there, I have always loved the mountains. I was three years old when I wore my first skis, not knowing that this would become my strongest passion ... Skiing, walking, climbing: it is since I was a child that I go to the mountains, first with my parents and my grandfather and then with my friends.
The degree in forestry science was only the logical consequence of this passion, as well as the beautiful summers spent managing the refuge Capanna Punta Penia in Marmolada (the highest refuge in the Dolomites, on top of the highest mountain in the Dolomites!), which I call "the bus without wheels" and all over the Dolomites!
The last step (for now...) was to become a Mountain Guide, to let you experience what the mountain transmits to me!
… and to show you the famous " bus without wheels”

Giovanni was an exceptionally wonderful guide! Our family spent the day with him climbing in Cinque Torri. He was incredibly patient with our children, and was able to find routes that we all enjoyed climbing. We loved every minute of the day and would recommend this trip to any family interested in doing some sport climbing near Cortina/Cinque Torri.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
