This is an exclusive opportunity to trek across one of Spain’s most mesmerizing places. Naranjo de Bulnes (2,519 m) also known as Picu Urriellu is a majestic limestone peak that lies in the autonomous community of Asturias. It is located in the north part of the country. And it forms part of the Central Massif area of the Picos de Europa mountain range, that belongs to the Cantabrian Mountains.
Naranjo de Bulnes towers over the Picos de Europa National Park. Therefore, there is no better place to get unrivalled views of this park, the Cantabrian Mountains and Picos de Europa than from this dazzling mountain.
What’s more, please note this is a private program. This means you will not have to share your experience with unknown guests. Also, it means I will be guiding you exclusively, along with your group. My main goal will be to keep you safe all throughout our trip, while of course, ensuring you are having a fantastic time.
Our 2-day trip begins and ends at the Fuente De station in Cantabria. Or we could meet at Pandebano in Asutrias. Thereon we’ll trek towards the Naranjo de Bulnes’ base. Then, we’ll reach Vega Urriellu, an enchanting glacial valley, where we’ll spend the night. The total trek distance will be 20 kilometers with a total elevation gain of 1,800 meters.
If you wish to join this program, just send me a request. It will be my pleasure to be your guide here.
Check this Pico Almanzor from Refugio Laguna Grande in Gredos half-day ascent that I guide too.
