2-day mountaineering tour of Cerro Castillo, Chile

Cerro Castillo National Park has a tradition of protecting wildlife native to Chile. It is a unique destination, where you can enjoy solitude and beautiful views of the jagged summit of Cerro Castillo (2675 m/8,776 ft), part of the imposing Andes mountain range.

My proposal is to take you on a hiking trip for two days around the virgin peaks and green lands of this nature reserve. Our meeting point on the first day will be at the hamlet of Cerro Castillo. After picking up our climbing equipment, we will be set and ready to take our plunge into our journey!

For this 2-day tour, I will need you to have basic mountaineering skills. This ascent will also require you to have a good fitness level. During the itinerary, I will teach you basic ice climbing techniques and the use of crampons.
