Experience the impressive Coe Glacier Icefall, in Mount Hood, on this exciting 2-day trip. Located in the Cascade Range, this glacier in the North Side of the mountain is ideal for adventurous climbers. Come with me to explore this beautiful place.
We’ll approach the mountain via the Cloud Cap campground. We’ll then set up our camp on the glacier. The following day, we’ll use ice tools to climb up the glacier. Even though we won’t attempt to reach the summit, the views on the route are stunning!
This trip is recommended for experienced ice/alpine climbers ready for an incredible adventure. This is due to the fact that the glacier offers exhilarating pitches of very steep, vertical glacier ice. We’ll probably need to use two technical ice tools.
If you are ready for an exciting summer adventure but filled with snow and ice, send your request! I can guarantee you’ll love this beautiful climb. We can also go ice climbing in Sandi Headwall (Mt Hood), check it out!
Interested in this trip? Send us a request and we’ll do our best to find a certified guide or agency who is authorized to guide in the area and who is available during your dates.
