The benefits of spending time outdoors, and specifically in nature, are numerous. Vitamins and minerals from the sun and plant life are easy remedies for the wear and tear of daily stresses and life struggles. We can find peace and center ourselves.
One method used to improve your health and wellness is sylvotherapy – the process of enriching your health and wellness through contact with trees and their energy. Placing yourself in the forest and interacting with it can bring about many positive effects on one’s spirit.
I designed this weekend program for just this reason: use the forest and its energy to awaken the senses. By entering the solitude and beauty of the Vosges, you can immerse ourselves in the purity of nature to relax and center yourself. This is a great way for you to rest and relax, and to experience the outdoors in a way that you might never have before. You will be able to appreciate the rich biodiversity of the country, and ground yourself in the subtle beauty of the trees.
You will spend the first day getting acclimated to the forest and we will hike through some of France´s most beautiful country scenery. You will keep the positive energy flowing on Saturday evening when we settle into a farmhouse inn for the night. There is an authentic dormitory for us to sleep in at night.
The following day will include a classic breakfast, proceded by another jaunt into the serene landscape. We will even enjoy a picnic of local fare in a chalet on Sunday afternoon to enhance your experience.
This trip is for anyone ready to enjoy nature. An occassional fitness is great, and the trek itself is not too difficult.
Book now and enjoy the benefits of a relaxing weekend hiking among the trees of the Vosges!
Can’t make it to Les Vosges this summer? Join me for an awesome snowshoeing trip in this stunning area this winter.
We’ll meet at 1pm at a secret place…! We will get accustomed to the Vosges on a 7 kilometer hike, spanning roughly 4 hours. In the evening we will stay in a dormitory at a local farmhouse inn. Over the course of the day, we will climb 300m and descend 400m.
After a delicious breakfast, we will head out for a charming six or seven hour hike, covering 11 kilometers. This will include a picnic in a beautiful chalet. We will climb 590m and descend 440m.

Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
