Join me for an exciting climbing trip through the Sunshine Route on Mount Hood, Oregon. This 2-day trip in the Cascade Range is ideal for experienced climbers that wish to enjoy the outdoors during the summer months.
The Sunshine Route, on the north side of the mountain, offers exciting glaciers and perfect ice walls. The two-day trip will start from the campground on the north side. We’ll climb up to 7.600 and 8.200 feet to set up our camp site. On the second day, we’ll go to the Eliot Glacier and climb steep pitches of snow to reach the summit. The views from the top are unforgettable! We’ll descend through the south side back to Timberline Lodge.
This trip is recommended for experienced climbers in good physical condition, ready to carry an overnight backpack during the climbing days. The trip offers an incredible combination of rock, ice and snow climbing. Besides, the setting is fantastic!
If you are looking for an outdoor adventure this summer, look no more! Mount Hood is waiting for you and I would love to guide you. Send your request!
