2-day ascent to Dent du Geant, Mont Blanc

Situated in the Mont Blanc Massif, in the border area between France and Italy, Dent du Geant is a stunning mountain  with an altitude of 4,013 meters above sea level. If you are a mountaineering lover, this will be an amazing experience for you. Join me on this 2-day program and get to the summit of this peak!

On day 1, we’ll meet at the Skyway car park, have a brief conversation and check the equipment. Then, we’ll go to the Torino hut (3,375 meters), where we’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night. On day 2, we’ll begin the climb early in the morning and spend around 6-8 hours on the ascent and descent. First we’ll start with an easy walk and then face the wall of the mountain, where we will find rock and snow sections. Afterwards, we’ll begin a demanding climb with ropes until we reach the summit. Once there, we’ll be able to contemplate beautiful views from Mont Blanc, the Rochefort Arête and the Grandes Jorasses. Finally, we’ll rappel the descent and return to Torino hut.
