Description

The serrated peaks of Salbitschijen (2981m) rise above the charming town of Göschenen, in Switzerland. This is a popular destination for alpine climbing because of the quality of its rock and the unbelievable scenery that accompanies it.

Surrounded by higher mountains like Dammastock, Fleckistoch or Sustenhorn, the views from Salbitschijen are among the most impressive ones in central Switzerland.

That is why I invite you to join me in a 2-day climbing adventure across one of these routes: the South ridge, the Super South ridge, the East ridge or the Hut ridge. These last two are better for not-so-experienced climbers.

Any of these tours will take us between 4 and 7 hours, depending on which one we decide to take. In the evening, we will rest our bodies and minds in a singular and confortable accommodation run by the Nepalese hut-keeper, Nima.

Do not miss the chance to live this experience. Book this program now and get to enjoy one of the most popular climbing spots in central Switzerland.

If you want to explore the West ridge too, take a look at this 2-day program.

Mountain Guide

I have been a guide for the past 19 years. The fascinating and unique impressions of the mountain world are what motivate me the most. I love introducing my guests to the different aspects of climbing and skiing and other activities up in the mountain.

I spend my winters between Disents/ Mustér, Andermatt and also all over the Alps, where freeriding and skitouring is the star activity. When spring begins, I like traveling to the north for Fjord and Fjell, Ski and Sail touring and also to the Caucasian mountains. Later, in the summer, I love going on multi pitch rock climbing, mainly in the Swiss Alps, Dolomites and Chamonix. A great part of my experience has also been on several 4,000m+ peaks in the Alps and some mountains all around the world.

My specialties as a guide include skiing, mountaneering in rock and ice, and challenging climbs in limestone and granite. I always work to adapt the different options to the goals and desires of my guests.

Another part of my job has to do with Swiss Mountain Guide education. For the past 8 years I have been teaching different courses to aspirant guides.

Safety is a core value for me. This is the key to returning back home with the certainty of having experienced one-of-a-kind and enriching holidays. I look forward to guiding you soon, whether it is climbing, skiing or mountaineering.
