Enjoy the most stunning ski slopes in the nature parks of Lungau and Zederhaus.
Zederhaus lies in the state of Salzburg, close to the capital that shares its name. With a sparse population of around 1,000, it lies on the southern slopes of the Lower Tauern mountain range.
The gentle flow of local creeks passes by several historic watermills, scattered across the beautiful alpine pastures.
Zederhaus is part of the larger Lungau region, which makes up 15 local municipalities. Lying on the Lungau plateau, the region lies between the High Tauern mountain range, the main chain in the Central Eastern Alps, and the Lower Tauern.
Lungau has a huge range of ski touring options open to everyone whether you are skilled or a beginner. Easy slopes curve across the range just as much as challenging ones.
Choose whether you want to explore the nature park of Riedingtal, Nahendfeld, Großkessel, or Murtal. There are also great side valleys in Lungau that are often overlooked which are home to great ski runs.
You have the flexibility to create your own itinerary by also choosing between a day tour or a multi-day tour.
Get in touch now to reserve your place in the stunning Central Alps in Austria for a 1+day skiing tour in the region of Lungau, home to a wide range of easy to challenging slopes.

Mountain Guide
Growing up in Salzburg's Lungau, Austria, my enthusiasm for the mountains has been rooted in me since childhood.
In winter, I passionately lead my guests on ski tours or show them the best runs while skiing off-piste. In later season I’m guiding in Norway (Lyngen/Senja). And another great passion is ice climbing on frozen waterfalls.
In summer I like to be out and about on rocks and ice in my local mountains but also abroad.
I look forward to go on tour together with you!

The guide was a great person, with wide knowledge and professional. We tried to reach the peak in one day during November and unfortunately we couldn’t. I suggest to start the climb at 4:00am to ensure reaching it before dark

We initialy planned to climb the grossvenediger but the weather conditions were not great. Klaus was very kean to find a good alternative for the group considering our technical level. We climbed the mosermandl and it was beautiful, the whole group loved it, view was amazing and challenge was also there. Klaus was very fun and engaging we definetly would recommend him to any group or friends !

Klaus was epic and challenged us to get out of our comfort zone. Due to really unfortunate circumstances we had to change guide last minute, which left us in the dark as to whether the trip would go ahead. Explore share did sort the issue but it felt like it took a lot of pestering and communication could have been better.
