Ice climbing provides a thrilling fusion of physical exertion and awe-inspiring natural splendor, as you scale frozen waterfalls and icicles in a distinctive and captivating vertical setting.
Tyrol region in Austria has plenty of option to practice this activity, including Zillertal valley, Innsbruck, Imst, Kaunertal Valley, Ötztal Valley, Paznaun - Ischgl, and Pitztal Valley.
There are options for all levels, from first-timers to advanced ice climbers looking to for a challenge.
Ice climbing alongside a mountain guide promises an unforgettable adventure for climbers of all levels. Set against the stunning backdrop of the unique frozen waterfalls in the Alps, this exhilarating sport takes on a whole new dimension.
Beyond our professional endeavors, we engage in extensive ice climbing pursuits. With expertise not only in climbing but also in terrain assessment, weather evaluation, and safety protocols, we meticulously plan and orchestrate each ice climbing expedition. This ensures that every individual can fully immerse themselves in the thrill of the climb and the awe-inspiring beauty of nature.
We'll meet in the morning at the agreed ice climbing spot (we'll let you know where beforehand, depending on where you'll be staying, the ice conditions, and your previous experiencie and skill level). First, we'll help you get comfortable with the gear. Then, a certified mountain guide will teach you all the techniques for climbing on ice and how to safely belay your partner using the rope. Throughout the day, the guide will be there to supervise you, offering plenty of tips and tricks. We'll keep climbing until you've had enough.
Potential participants for this ice climbing trip need to have a good level of fitness in order to fully enjoy the trip safely.

Mountain Guide
I grew up in Tyrol (Austria), fascinated by the mountains at a very young age. This led me to discover the world of climbing at the age of 10. I never would have imagined that I would become so enthralled by it.
I became a full certified IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain and Ski Guide at the age of 22. Since summer 2016 I have had the privilege of introducing you to the wonderful world of mountains.
Whether it's on my home mountains in Tyrol, the 4,000-meter peaks of the Alps, or in the mountains of the Himalayas, I will be happy to guide you!

Christoph was not our guide on the route, he couldn't make it last minute but one of his colleague from the bergskifuehrer made it. Despite this little last-minute stress, the experience was great. Emanuel our guide was excellent. He was giving very good advice on how to make the best way, we felt very safe and had a lot of fun as well.

Everything was perfect. Christoph gauged our abilities and selected accordingly, and we had 2 lovely days at the crag, seeing different parts of the beautiful Zillertal region. 100% would recommend to others and come back again!!
Nataliia

Chris was excellent to have as our guide. He was very understanding in the moments we struggled on the snow and the rock climbing and constantly encouraged us. We felt very safe knowing he was with us and shared a lot about the mountains and the wildlife. Highly recommend
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
