Surpassed only by Mount Everest, Aconcagua massif (6962 m) is the highest mountain in the Western world. It is located in the Province of Mendoza, in Argentina, where it is the main attraction of the provincial park with the same name. Undertaking an expedition to this legendary mountain means discovering wild nature!
For this trip, I will need you to have a good fitness level as well as a basic technique.
My proposal for this 19-day experience is to ascend on different phases. Our first phase starts at theentrance to the Aconcagua Provincial Park. During the first few days, we will take it slow so as to acclimatize to the weather and altitude. Relaxing walks and admiring the impressive South Wall of the Aconcagua will be the dominant activities. We will be lodging at different camps on our climbing to the summit. At Cerro Bonete, we qill find an spectacular view to the Western Wall of Aconcagua. Finally on day 14, the reach of the summit will be conquered. Every day, the activities will not tale longer than 7 hours.

Pablo was excellent as always and put us in touch with Julian Lopez who organised 4 days of splitboarding in North Patagonia. His knowledge as a guide and as an Argentine were thoroughly appreciated. Highly recommended.

I spent three days on the glaciers above Chamonix with Jeremias at the beginning of July 2015, preparing for a three week tour with him to Patagonia. I cannot recommend Jeremias' guiding highly enough. He is highly expert in everything concerning the mountains and was truly excellent company throughout. I cannot wait to go again!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
