Come with me to discover this unique corner of Nepal: Panch Pokhari, which is named after 5 holly lakes. During this 16-day hike we’ll get to enjoy beautiful Himalayan views, charming small villages, rhododendron and pine forests and a distinct culture. You’ll love this remote corner of the world.
We’ll meet at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and explore the capital the first day. We’ll then drive to Chautara, from where our trip will begin. During the trip, we’ll be able to savor views of Mount Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa and other peaks. We’ll also contemplate the Jugal Himal range, Rolwaling range, and Gosainkunda. Our trip will finish at Melamchi, from where will drive to Kathmandu for another rest day.
The Panch Pokhari peak is located at 4.300 meters above sea level. Before we depart, we’ll go through some techniques to avoid altitude sickness.
