Description

There is so much to discover in the Dolomite Mountains, which is why this 3-day rock climbing adventure is an amazing way to see it all! Each day will offer us new and exciting rock faces to climb, taking you on an adventure otherwise difficult to navigate without the help of a guide like myself.

On this rock climbing tour you will get to climb some of the classic routes in the Dolomites. While scaling our way up the different walls, you will be sure to observe many different aspects of nature and learn a good amount about the region’s historic background, which was a stomping ground for much activity during the First World War.

Intended for intermediate rock climbers, we will be climbing walls up to a maximum grade of 4+ or 5 (UIAA). The nights will be spent sleeping peacefully in some of the Dolomites’ most comfortable rifugios.

So if you have some experience with rock climbing and enjoy overnight adventures, then please join me on this one!

And should you enjoy the mountains, I also offer a few other trips, such as climbing in the Austrian Alps, doing a via ferrata in the Dolomites and rock climbing the Tre Cime di Lavaredo!

Mountain Guide

Born in a small mountain village, in the Valis del Natisone area, I grew up surrounded by mountains, which I learned from my childhood. Great spaces, sense of freedom and love for nature were the first great feelings I learned to make mine.

From the top of the mountains that shelter my country I saw others, much more impressive, and from here came the desire to discover new horizons, new landscapes and even larger spaces. And here I quickly travel all the Julian Alps, in the summer (for the normal routes first and then for railways and climbing routes) and in winter with the skis, discovering a passion that gradually becomes bigger and that brings me, in a few years, to discover the beauty of all the Alps.

In the footsteps of the great alpinists I have retraced a large part of the itineraries that have made the history of this that, in my opinion, is not just a sport activity but a lifestyle, which puts us in the conditions to live the mountain in all its aspects and to live the time as it is marked by the passing of the seasons.

The desire to transmit these emotions to other people and allow them to live in complete safety and freedom, has led me to face the strict path necessary to become Mountain Guide, a passion became a profession for the love of the mountain, its people and the his silences.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

We had LĂ©o as a guide for our day climb in Fonty. We were blessed with a knowledgeable, warm, and instructive guide. Communication with LĂ©o and Ivan was smooth and swift. Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
