Description
There is absolutely nothing like trekking to the world famous Mount Everest Base Camp. To be able to stand at the base of the highest mountain on Earth is an experience you will never forget. That is why we are so happy to offer this 15-day expedition that will provide you with that experience along with so much more.
Our trip will begin in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. You will be given time to explore the wonderful city before we make our way toward the great mountain. Once we reach the base camp, you will get to gaze up at the behemoth peak to your heart’s content. Moreover, you will also get to enjoy several great hikes in the area. Some of those hikes will take you within view of several more gigantic Himalayan peaks. Those peaks include Ama Dablam, Pumori, Nuptse and more. You will also be given the option to enjoy a side hike to Kala Patthar, which rests at an altitude of over 18,000 feet!
Other great highlights you will get to enjoy around Everest base camp include the chance to visit a number of local Buddhist monasteries. You can also visit different markets, or relax in the various tea houses, where you can meet and interact with Nepalese locals. After your memorable experience around the base camp, we will return to the city of Kathmandu.
Participants on this trip should have prior hiking experience. You should also be good physical condition.
