Description
To see Mount Everest (8,848m) is an experience you will never forget. However, the trek to get to the mighty mountain’s base camp will provide you with so much more than just the views of the world’s highest peak.
For 14 days, we would like to guide you to the base camp of Mount Everest. And, along the way, we would like to show you an abundance of unforgettable views, villages and so much more.
Our trip will begin in the Nepalese capital city of Kathmandu. Once there, you will be given time to explore the great city and its collection of temples and shops. After that, the journey will begin. And, it will start with a flight you will never forget. For about 40 minutes you will get to fly through the Himalayas on one of the most thrilling and scenic flights in the world: the Kathmandu – Lukla route.
After arriving in Lukla, we will trek to a number of popular villages. Those villages include Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Dingboche and Lobuche. We will also stop at the Tengboche Monastery. After that, we will arrive at Everest Base Camp, where you can admire the majestic Mount Everest. And, because we will be trekking for several days prior to arriving at the camp, you will have plenty of time to acclimatize. Finally, as an added bonus, following base camp, we will trek to the summit of Kala Patar (5,645m). From the summit, you will get to enjoy even more spectacular views.
Following the base camp and summit of Kala Patar, we will make our way back to Kathmandu, via Namache Bazaar and yet another exciting flight from Lukla.
We will be trekking from 5-7 hours per day during this trip. As a result, you should be in good physical condition. However, at the end of each day, you will get to rest in a comfortable guesthouse.

- In addition to the guiding fee, the price also includes airport transfer and pick up, meals, hot drinks, accommodation, Everest National Park entry, airfare from Kathmandu to Lukla and back, porters, guide expenses, trekking poles.
- The price does not include accommodation in Kathmandu, international airfare, Nepal visa, medical expenses and gratuities.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, (1,400m)
After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will picked up from the airport and driven to your hotel, where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Free Day in Kathmandu
Today you will get to explore Kathmandu at your leisure. We will also have a pre-trek briefing that includes a gear check. You will spend the night in your hotel.
Day 3: Flight to Lukla (2,886m) and trek to Phakding (2,652m)
Today we will fly to Lukla. After arriving, we will then trek for approximately 3 hours to Phakding. We will spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 4: Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
We will trek for approximately 5.5 hours to Namche Bazaar, where we will spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 5: Rest Day in Namche Bazaar
You will get to spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar, while also getting properly acclimatized. You will spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Tengboche Monastery (3,860m)
We will trek for approximately 5 hours to the Tengboche Monastery. We will spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 7: Dingboche (4,260m)
For approximately 5.5 hours we will trek to Dingboche. We will spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 8: Lobuche (4,930m)
Today we will trek for approximately 5 hours to Lobuche. We will spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 9: Everest Base Camp (5,365m)
Today, we will trek for approximately 7.5 hours as we make our way to Everest Base Camp and then to Gorak Shep (5,175m), where we will spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 10: Kala Patar (5,645m)
Today, we will trek to the summit of Kala Patar, where you can enjoy amazing views of Everest. Afterwards, we will go to Periche (5,180), where we will spend the night in a guesthouse. Total trekking time for the day will be approximately 7 hours.
Day 11: Namche Bazaar
We will trek for approximately 5.5 hours back to Namche Bazaar. We will spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 12: Lukla
For approximately 6 hours, we will trek to Lukla. We will spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 13: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
In the morning, we will fly from Lukla back to Kathmandu. After arriving, we will go to the hotel, where you can either rest and relax or explore the city. There will be a farewell dinner.
Day 14: Depature
On the final day of the trip, we will take you to the airport, where you can catch your flight home.
