Our 14-day Everest Base Camp Trek is the ideal way to get up close to the world's highest mountain while seeing some of Nepal's most stunning scenery!
As we make our way from Kathmandu to the base camp and back, you will see a wide array of diverse landscapes, get incredible views out over other iconic Himalayan peaks, explore traditional Sherpa villages and meet local people.
The fun begins after we meet you at the airport in Kathmandu and transfer into the city. You'll have this afternoon and another on the penultimate day of the trip to explore this incredible city and see its three iconic UNESCO World Heritage sites.
However, the real adventure begins on the following day after we fly to Lukla. From here, we begin the actual trek, hiking through incredible alpine scenery.
As we arrive at Namche Bazaar a couple of days in, we get our first incredible views of Mount Everest as well as several other iconic Himalayan peaks.
We'll continue trekking toward them, staying in traditional Sherpa villages and getting to learn a little bit about the people and their culture. Among the sites we visit is the Tengboche monastery, which sits in one of the most beautiful parts of the entire Everest region.
We will know that we are getting close as the landscape changes from alpine meadows to more stark and rugged terrain. We will ascend up Mt Lobuche and continue on to the Everest Base Camp the following day.
The approach is scenic and challenging as we pass by the iconic Khumbu Glacier and ascend up to the camp itself at 5,634 meters (17,598 feet). Here we will meet some climbers attempting to summit the peak.
The last part of the trip is spent slowly returning to Lukla and then Kathmandu, where we will say goodbye.
So what are you waiting for? Book now for this unforgettable 14-day Everest Base Camp trek through the stunning Himalayas and to the foot of the world's highest peak!
If you like the look of this trip then we think you may also enjoy our 9-day Ghorepani Poonhill sunrise trek!

You will fly from Kathmandu to Lukla in the morning, where you will meet the guide and porters. From here, you will hike through the Chauri kharka village and descend toward the Dudhkoshi River, following it until Phakding. We will spend the night here.
After getting up early, we will cross a long suspension bridge over the Dudhkoshi River and continue trekking into Sagarmatha National Park. From her, we will continue climbing along the river bank until we reach Namche Bazaar.
We will spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar and acclimatizing.
We will continue hiking toward Everest, getting our first great views of the peak as well as Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde.
After a day of walking, we will visit the Tengboche monastery before staying in the nearby town.
We will hike through a rhododendron forest until we cross the Imja river and traverse a high plain on to Pangboche. We will eat lunch here and explore the village before continuing on to Dingboche, where we will spend the night.
We will have a short day today, leaving Dingboche and hiking into more arid and stark landscapes before arriving at Duglha.
We will ascend the craggy Mt Lobuche, passing a memorial to the mountaineers deceased on Everest on our way. We will spend the night in nearby Lobuche.
This is the highlight of the whole trip. We will get up nice and early and hike some rock dunes and along the Khumbu glacier at the base of the mountain. After awhile, we will arrive at Everest Base Camp. We will hang out here and meet some climbers attempting to summit the peak, before returning down to GorakShep.
We will get up nice and early in order to be on the trail and see the sunrise over Everest. We will continue descending until we reach Pheriche.
We will continue to trek downhill back past the landscapes through which we came until we reach Namche Bazaar.
We will head out for our last day of trekking and leisurely spend the day making our return to Lukla, where we will have a celebratory dinner.
In the morning, we will fly from Lukla back to Kathmandu, where you will have the rest of the day free.
You will transfer to the airport and fly home.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
