Description

Patagonia is famous with visitors from around the world. A natural paradise, the area is as vast as it is gorgeous**.** One aspect of Patagonia that is especially wondrous are the incredible ice fields. That is why I am very happy to offer this incredible 10-day expedition that will take you throughout the enormous northern Patagonian ice field in Chile.

Throughout this trip, you will get to trek through the still relatively unexplored region of Aysen. Within this area, you will get to see forests, rivers, lakes and, of course, lots and lots of glacial ice. The area is an absolute wonder, and I have no doubt you’ll have the time of your life exploring it.

Our trip will begin in Coyhaique. From there, we will venture to Puerto Guadal, where we will take a boat ride on the Lake Leones. We will also trek through the beautiful landscape until we reach our base camp. From the base camp, we will begin exploring the incredible plateau. You will even get to ascend the wonderful and relatively easy to climb Cerro Mocho as well. As the trip concludes, we will return to Puerto Guadal, where you can enjoy a delicious Patagonian barbecue before returning to Coyhaique and then Santiago.

Participants on this trip should be good physical condition, as we will be doing a lot of trekking.

Exploring the Patagonian ice field in northern Chile is an experience you will never forget. To enjoy it for yourself, for 10 incredible days, please send a request.

Are you looking for a shorter adventure in Chile? Then join me on this 3-day ascent of the wonderful Cerro El Morado, near Santiago.

For more than 20 years I have worked as a guide in Chile. Join me and I´ll be able to show you the wonderful spots that the Andes offer to those who share my passion for big mountains.

I live in Santiago de Chile, the Chilean capital, where there are many options for high altitude ascents, even over 6,000 meters, in close proximity to the city. I also regularly organize trips to the Chilean Altiplano, where there are many mountains over 6000 meters. However, the main attraction of these trips is to witness the intensity and loneliness of the Atacama Desert.

I would love to have the opportunity to share these magical moments with you and help you achieve your goals and dreams.
